MEET US

We are a husband & wife photography team based in Montana, specializing in weddings for romantic and adventurous couples. We’re passionate about marriage, adventure, and dreaming BIG! When we’re not shooting weddings you can find us exploring in the mountains, traveling to new cities, binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix, or hanging out with our overly energetic dog!

Weddings

We love weddings for one main reason: because we love marriage! Weddings are absolutely amazing days, filled with romance and adventure. Nothing compares to the look on a grooms face when he sees his bride for the first time, the emotion packed into a father/daughter dance, or the smiles on our couples faces as they're officially announced as married! We love roaming through the mountains with our brides and grooms (good thing the Bozeman, MT area isn't lacking mountains!), and our hope is always to feel more like friends with our couples then just another vendor. But the best part about weddings is that we know it's just the beginning for our couples, because as beautiful as a wedding day is, we know their marriage adventure is going to get even better!

This is the second to last recap of my 2014 weddings that I second shot with Jacilyn M, Photographer, and it's a real good one!!! Luke & Lauren had such an amazingly stunning wedding day at the Rainbow Ranch Lodge in Big Sky, Montana. I may be a *little* biased since the Rainbow Ranch Lodge is one of mine and Brandon's very favorite getaway spots, but it's for good reason! It is an amazing mountain escape, and hands down the PERFECT backdrop for a wedding. Okay, I'll move on from my love affiar with RR and get onto the real stars of today's blog: Luke & Lauren!  These two are adventurers. Dream chasers. Go-getters. And they spent their day surrounded by family and friends who fueled those passions and celebrated those things with them. They left their ceremony on a tandem bicycle (which you can check out on Jackie's blog here, I…

The next 2014 recap is here, and it’s a beauty my friends! Just a refresher for anyone who missed the last few recaps; last summer I second shot a bunch of weddings for the amazing Jacilyn M, Photographer, but I never got around to sharing them with you. So this year I’m catching you up on everything you missed. Alright, onto Liz and David! These two, along with 165 of their loved ones, flew halfway across the country to get married in beautiful Red Lodge, Montana. Their family had land and a house in Red Lodge and they knew that nothing could top getting married in the mountains. And Montana certainly didn’t disappoint on their big day! Their wedding was so full of laughter and fun that my stomach literally hurt by the end of the night. Beer pong in the morning. Loud music all day long. And LOTS of dancing.…

Up next in my recap of the 2014 weddings I second shot with Jacilyn M, Photographer is AMANDA & TYLER! Oh my, where to begin with these two? Seriously. This was one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever been too. Hands down. 15 1/2 hours of laughs and good times. Amanda and Tyler tied the knot at one of my favorite venues, Montana Wildflower Weddings in Red Lodge, and then they hopped on some Harley’s and headed to Billings for their reception! I have lots more to say about these two, but it seems appropriate to explain as you go, so keep on scrolling down

I’ve been promising you a whole lot of gorgeousness from all the weddings I second shot last summer with Jacilyn M Photographer, but life’s been a little crazy lately and I kept putting blogging on the back burner. In the last four weeks alone we’ve bought a house, moved into our new home, road tripped to buy a car, and we added a new four-legged pup to our family! Things have been a little hectic to say the least, but I think we’re finally getting settled into our new routine. So I decided it was time to finally share some of last summer’s weddings with you; and I’m so excited to finally share Matt & Schenaye’s Big Sky wedding! These two. This place. Their wedding. Seriously - it’s hard to find words to describe it. They flew to Montana from Alabama for their big day, a trip they’ve made often. They…

We met in college, we were both photography majors, and we clicked instantly. Genna shared my sense of humor. She didn’t roll her eyes when I got overly excited about gorgeous golden sunshine. She would gladly stay up through all hours of the night finishing photo assignments with me. And she made me food. DELICIOUS FOOD. Let me clarify, moving out of my parent’s house and into the dorms in a different state wasn’t all that scary. I loved being on my own for the most part. But every single day I missed my mom’s cooking. Nobody could make my favorite dishes like my momma. But then Genna invited me over for dinner. And right then and there I knew we’d be friends forever! Just kidding of course, I loved her for soooo many other reasons too. But oh my, can this girl cook! If it weren’t for her I…
