MEET US

We are a husband & wife photography team based in Montana, specializing in weddings for romantic and adventurous couples. We’re passionate about marriage, adventure, and dreaming BIG! When we’re not shooting weddings you can find us exploring in the mountains, traveling to new cities, binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix, or hanging out with our overly energetic dog!

Weddings

We love weddings for one main reason: because we love marriage! Weddings are absolutely amazing days, filled with romance and adventure. Nothing compares to the look on a grooms face when he sees his bride for the first time, the emotion packed into a father/daughter dance, or the smiles on our couples faces as they're officially announced as married! We love roaming through the mountains with our brides and grooms (good thing the Bozeman, MT area isn't lacking mountains!), and our hope is always to feel more like friends with our couples then just another vendor. But the best part about weddings is that we know it's just the beginning for our couples, because as beautiful as a wedding day is, we know their marriage adventure is going to get even better!

Last summer I was lucky enough to second shoot 3 weddings with Carrie Ann Photography, and I'm finally sharing them with you all!  Up first is Kaitlin & John, and Loki, the most ADORABLE ring bearer I've ever seen. This entire wedding was full of magical surprises, including the four-legged ring bearer, a cuddly wedding crashing cat, a sexy car that would make my mechanic of a father twitter-patted, and an insane rainstorm followed by a double rainbow!!! Seriously, it was one perfect moment after another, and I'm still in awe of how gorgeous this entire day was. Plus, Kaitlin & John were the most down to earth and sweetest couple ever. From the first moment John turned around to see his beautiful bride, there were giant smiles spread across both of their faces.  I'll stop talking now and let the pictures speak for themselves. And I'm not even going to think about saying…

As we drove into the canyon the morning of Katie & Joel’s wedding there was a mist rolling in behind us. It quickly sunk into the trees and engulfed everything in the most gorgeous, light, misty rain. And it was perfect for one main reason: Katie had been planning on surprising her dad with the song “Misty” by Frank Sinatra for their father-daugher dance. She recalled her dad singing that song while she was growing up, but only when it really was misty outside! As she sat getting her hair done she reminisced about those times, and laughed because her dad had started dropping hints that morning that he wanted to change their song to Misty, not realizing that it had been her plan all along! However, by the time the first look rolled around the mist had started to clear, and the sun started to peek through the clouds,…

"I hope you don't mind that I put down in words, how wonderful life is while you're in the world." Jen & Deano's wedding day revolved around the same thing their lives do; music. And that's really the way a wedding should be, right? A highlight of your favorite things, with your favorite people, celebrating your love. Every moment of Jen & Deano's day was accompanied by the perfect song, and for their reception favors they gave away the soundtrack of their day. Centerpieces were hand-crafted by the bride out of old cassette tapes, table settings were made from old records and CD's, guests signed a vinyl record instead of a paper book, the entire bridal party rocked a classic retro style, and Jen & Deano danced the day away with their loved ones by their side. It was truly the most unique and thoughtful wedding I've seen in a long…

With this wedding, my 2014 recap of weddings I second shot with Jacilyn M, Photographer is coming to an end, but I may have saved one of my favorites for last!  Trista & Hank were married on a family farm in St Regis, Montana, and every last detail was absolutely stunning. Their day was an outpouring of happiness, love, and remembering those that couldn't be with them on the day they promised forever to each other. When we arrived that morning Trista was getting ready outside, with a million watt smile plastered across her face, and it never left. These two radiated love so vividly that I could have sworn the sun was shining just for them. From their first look to their first dance, the overwhelming emotion in the air was palpable. Plus, CLASSIC CARS... which I got to ride in! As the daughter of a mechanic and car lover, I've grown up…

This is the second to last recap of my 2014 weddings that I second shot with Jacilyn M, Photographer, and it's a real good one!!! Luke & Lauren had such an amazingly stunning wedding day at the Rainbow Ranch Lodge in Big Sky, Montana. I may be a *little* biased since the Rainbow Ranch Lodge is one of mine and Brandon's very favorite getaway spots, but it's for good reason! It is an amazing mountain escape, and hands down the PERFECT backdrop for a wedding. Okay, I'll move on from my love affiar with RR and get onto the real stars of today's blog: Luke & Lauren!  These two are adventurers. Dream chasers. Go-getters. And they spent their day surrounded by family and friends who fueled those passions and celebrated those things with them. They left their ceremony on a tandem bicycle (which you can check out on Jackie's blog here, I…
