Sara & Brandon

MEET US

We are a husband & wife photography team based in Montana, specializing in weddings for romantic and adventurous couples. We’re passionate about marriage, adventure, and dreaming BIG! When we’re not shooting weddings you can find us exploring in the mountains, traveling to new cities, binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix, or hanging out with our overly energetic dog!

Personal

In our personal posts you can expect to find stories of our life, travels, adventures, wishes, hopes, dreams, and some open letters written to each other. We want to share about our own marriage, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Along with being open about our biggest goals and aspirations, greatest fears and struggles, and encourage you to keep pursuing your own version of success.

It’s no secret that we love weddings, but even more than that, we LOVE marriage! It’s why we chose to specialize in weddings & engagements. There are few things we love more than watching our couples begin their own marriage journeys, and getting to share in those special moments with them. A beautiful bride in white, a dashing groom who can’t stop smiling, promises of endless adventures together; we just can’t get enough of those moments! But as the old saying goes: “Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite.” So, we thought it was about time to finally share OUR STORY with all of you!   If you missed a previous part of our story, check it out first below! Part 1: How We Met Part 2: Mario Kart & Netflix Binges Part 3: Friday Night Lights Part 4: Math Equations & Raspberry Slushies Part 5: Road…

This past weekend one of my best friends flew into town to spend the weekend with me. These days we don’t get to see each other nearly as often as we’d like, so when we’re in the same place at the same time we always make the most of it! We had such an amazing weekend full of adventures and wine, and when Monday morning came I just wasn’t ready to send her back to Colorado. I hate that all of my best friends live so far away! Sunday evening I found myself sitting in a chair, squeezing her hand, while needles pierced my foot with fresh ink, and I was brought right back to the first day we did this. To the day we decided to get matching tattoos. Yes, matching. It was our sophomore year of college, before the days of Facebook and “adulting”, and I had just…

Oh my goodness friends, we can't believe this day is FINALLY HERE!!! We have been working behind the scenes on our new brand and website for months, and we are so excited to finally share it with you! Other than our new look, the BIGGEST change you might notice is that Sara Jeanne Photography is no longer just Sara... it's Sara AND Brandon! If you follow us on social media you might have noticed Brandon popping up more often over the last few months, but we're so happy to finally make it official! Last summer when we traveled to Phoenix, Arizona for in person coaching with Amy & Jordan Photography we learned more than we could possibly have imagined (read more about that here), but there's one moment of our trip that I won't ever forget. On our way home we arrived to the airport a couple of hours early, found a cozy seat in a restaurant,…

Do you ever have those days where your to-do list just seems TOO long? Where there is so much to do, but it just feels too overwhelming, so you end up doing nothing at all? That was me last night. I laid in bed binge watching Netflix, thinking about all of the things that needed to get done. I was exhausted, tired, and a bit overwhelmed. I hadn't gotten a blog up since the end of September. I still have three weddings from last summer to share with you. I have two sessions coming up soon. We're hosting friends for a few days this weekend. Tonight we'll host our Thursday Night Football crew for the game. House projects that I swore I'd finish last summer are still undone. Events need planned, tasks need completed, things need cleaned, and somewhere in the midst of it all my hubby and I need…
