MEET US

We are a husband & wife photography team based in Montana, specializing in weddings for romantic and adventurous couples. We’re passionate about marriage, adventure, and dreaming BIG! When we’re not shooting weddings you can find us exploring in the mountains, traveling to new cities, binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix, or hanging out with our overly energetic dog!

Our Adventures

If you haven't figured it out yet, we love to travel and explore! There is nothing we love more than going on new adventures together, traveling hand-in-hand as we see what this wonderful world has to offer. From camping and hiking at home in Bozeman, or in Glacier National Park, to road trips all over the West Coast (best coast!), to jumping out of planes and swimming with sharks. Adventures are always better together, and our wanderlust filled hearts can't get enough of them.

With summer right around the corner, we’re gearing up for another season spent in the mountains; so I figured now was a good time to share the story of our final hike from the end of last summer! 2014 was our first season of actually hiking, and we fell in LOVE with it! There’s just something indescribable about being in the mountains, completely cut off from the world. No cell service. No obligations. No timelines. Just fresh air and lots of conversation. And waterfalls. We’re waterfall junkies. Throughout last summer we went on lots of short hikes, and a few that challenged us. But all summer long Brandon had been talking about how much he wanted to hike Hyalite Lake - a gorgeous trail that passed 11 waterfalls. The catch - it was 11 miles round trip, almost three times longer than any hike we’d done up to that point.…

Remember a few days ago when I said that one of my BIGGEST business dreams was finally coming true this summer? And you all kept asking me to finally tell you what it was… well first, here’s a story for you! Have you ever had someone that you looked up to and admired? Someone who inspired you to be better, to push harder, to keep going even when things get hard? Someone you respected? Someone who makes you laugh? Someone who always says the right thing exactly when you need to hear it most? You have?! Awesome! Now, raise your hand if you’ve never actually met that person… Social media is a brilliant thing isn’t it? Having the chance to follow people who inspire you and to learn from them, even from afar, is pretty amazing! A few years ago I was on Facebook (procrastinating something, I’m sure!) and I stumbled upon…

I believe 110% that life is what you make it. You can’t just sit back and hope that this year is better, different, that you’ll get everything you wished for. You have to decide what you want and chase after it with everything you have. And that’s exactly what I did in 2014. Looking back, I can hardly believe we crammed so much into twelve months. Brandon and I had a year filled with amazing friends, grand adventures, and a whole lot of love; and that’s everything I could ever hope for. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary. We started our journey towards a healthier life; Brandon lost 55 pounds and I lost 70. We traveled to new places - and lots of them! Some of our favorite travel adventures included: numerous weekend getaways to Chico and Big Sky, tons of weekends in Billings with our families, road tripping to…

Earlier this month Brandon and I took a road trip to Seattle and Portland to celebrate our first anniversary as Mr & Mrs! We had the BEST time, but more to come on our whole vacation later… today I wanted to share a little bit about one of our annual traditions, and the beautiful thing that resulted from it! Three years ago I realized that we had a ton of snapshots from the beginning of our relationship, but not many recent ones. I had a lot of pictures of Brandon; after all, he was my primary test subject and second shooter, but there weren’t many pictures that I loved of the two of us together - other than the glorified selfies  [wink]  It was then that we decided to have a portrait session done of the two of us at least once every year. Conveniently enough, we had gotten engaged that year and needed…
