MEET US

We are a husband & wife photography team based in Montana, specializing in weddings for romantic and adventurous couples. We’re passionate about marriage, adventure, and dreaming BIG! When we’re not shooting weddings you can find us exploring in the mountains, traveling to new cities, binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix, or hanging out with our overly energetic dog!

Hyalite Reservoir

Only 30 minutes from our front door, Hyalite Reservoir and canyon is home to some of our very favorite adventure spots! The mountains, evergreen trees, creeks, and of course, the waterfalls are just some of the few reasons we love shooting engagement sessions and weddings in the Hyalite area!

Almost SIX years ago I met up with Allannah and Will (& Casper!) for the first time. Allannah and I had both worked at the same bank (but at different branches) and a mutual co-worker connected us when she got engaged. We went on an adventure around Bozeman for their engagement session and the following summer they tied the knot at the Gallatin River Hideaway. Then sometime last year we realized how quickly their five year anniversary was approaching and decided that an updated session was a must! So in August we met up, again with the always adorable Casper in tow, and went on yet another adventure around Bozeman and up into Hyalite Canyon. We had so much fun I didn't want our adventure to end!  I love shooting engagements and weddings, the start of amazing adventures full of love. But you want to know what I love even more?…

I first met Trista a few years ago when she was a bridesmaid in Katie & Joel's wedding (be sure to click that link and check out the pictures from when she and another bridesmaid led a flashmob dance during the reception!). So when Trista sent me a message asking if I would do her engagement photos, I was beyond excited!! Sadly, when they tie the knot in Mexico this winter I'll be at home with our brand new baby girl - but Trista & Dustin, I fully expect you to have an extra celebratory drink for me!!  As if I wasn't excited enough, Trista & Dustin had the idea of starting their session at Map Brewing, confirming they were exacty my kinda people! We started slow over some beers (except me, because I had juuuust found out I was pregnant!) and lots of laughing before heading up the mountain to…

There's something special about young love. About falling head over heels, while you're still figuring out what that means. It's one thing to fall in love with someone as they are, it's another thing to fall in love with someone and stay in love through the changing seasons of life. To grow together, and to grow closer in the process.  Haylee & Jordy met in pre-school, and while they attended different elementary schools, when they both ended up in the same middle school it wasn't long before they were officially an item. When we asked them how they started dating so many years ago, Jordy laughed and said he probably passed her a note or something, because you know... 7th grade and all! Knowing somebody for so long, literally growing up side-by-side, growing closer, and falling more in love with each passing year, that's the kind of love that is built…

Mary and Evan met in high school, but that’s not really where the story begins… A few years after high school they ran into each other and after that Evan started planning ways to casually talk to Mary again. And since Mary was a photographer, Evan messaged her asking if she could do a photo of him that he needed for the military, really just wanting an excuse to talk to her. She said no because she didn’t do that type of photography. So Evan got creative, and asked if she could do his passport photo; again, she said no for the same reason. Strike two. A little while later Mary noticed Evan walk into the gym with a serious look on his face, she smiled and waved and he just kept on walking. She couldn’t believe he didn’t notice her, but she just resumed working out. That is… until…

A few years ago I was working as a teller at a credit union, and we had the most amazing group of ladies on the teller line. Katie was one of those ladies, and it was the absolute best working beside her every single day. Katie is the person who always has a great attitude, never takes anything too seriously, and who can always make you laugh. So when she decided to move back home to Minnesota in the middle of 2015, I was so sad to see her go! We've kept in touch since she left, and Katie would regularly make my day by sending me the sweetest messages about how much she loved recent blogs I'd posted of engagements or weddings. Then earlier this fall I saw another photo of a beautiful ring on someone's left hand... and this time it was Katie's!!! She quickly let me know…
