This is a collection of our favorite weddings and engagements from Bozeman, Montana all the way to Glacier National Park and beyond!

For a long time, they remained friends. Forrest and Kelly both lived in the same dorm on campus, and as a group many of them would eat dinner together each night. They built a friendship, laughing and joking and adventuring together. But somewhere along the way it all started to change. Their friendship caught fire, and nothing would ever be the same. Fast forward a couple years, and Forrest managed to get down on one knee, on skis, and ask Kelly to spend the rest of her life by his side!  When Kelly first emailed me about her wedding, she described her wedding day as a "Progressive Wedding Adventure". Which is my new favorite term! Basically, they just wanted to go on an adventure in Glacier National Park, and tie the knot along the way. They would take a boat across a lake, along with their closest friends and family, walk…

Nearly all of our sessions happen at sunset, because I am simply not a morning person. But every now and then, our schedules leave us with sunrise as the only option, and every time we wake up before the sun, and chase that early morning light with other beautiful souls, I'm reminded just how amazing those first few moments of a day are. There's something different about sunrise, about starting fresh, starting anew.  We met up with Sadie & Stefan right as the sun started to peak over the tops of the Bear Paw Mountains. We explored vast fields, tiny trails, and got to hear all about how these two fell in love. Stefan told us with a giant smile on his face about the night that he met Sadie and worked up the courage to talk to her, and together they reminisced about the day where Stefan took Sadie…

When you've known someone since they were 13 years old, the words don't come easy to describe the way you felt when you saw them standing in a beautiful white dress, promising to spend the rest of their life loving their best friend. Words like happiness, or joy, don't even begin to cover it. I remember the late night heart-to-hearts, the silly shenanigans, and the inside jokes. I've watched Bree transform from a rebellious teenager who could sass-talk like it was her job, into the most beautiful mom and wife. I'm so beyond proud of the woman she's become.  So getting to witness her wedding day, from start to finish, was the biggest honor! Surrounded by her two best friends who have known her just as long, she stood in front of her family and friends and vowed to love Kyle for the rest of her days. The father of her son,…

When you strip away all details of a wedding, you're left with the most beautiful thing of all: the LOVE. And that is exactly what Katleyn & Dalton's wedding day was about. Nothing was rushed, they just soaked in every moment, and went with the flow. Hours before the ceremony as it poured rain outside the window, we kept our eye on the radar and assured Katelyn the storm would pass in time for her outdoor ranch wedding, as she and her bridesmaids sat on the living room floor bundling white roses and baby's breath to make their own bouquets. Her bridesmaids added extra baby's breath into her hair, and combined with her nude and lace wedding gown, Katelyn looked like the most stunning and whimsical bride we'd ever seen. The storm cleared up just as the ceremony was about to start, so the groomsmen wiped down the chairs, and the…

Maggie eased into the day, calm and collected. She had a smile across her face throughout her hair and makeup appointment, but there was a noticeable excitement surrounding her. This was the day she got to marry her best friend. And oh, what a beautiful and perfect day it was! After Maggie finished her hair and makeup we all headed back to the Billings Depot, where she met her bridesmaids to put on the finishing touches. The girls blared music and danced while they all got ready, including Beyonce’s Single Ladies while Maggie slipped into her gorgeous dress, laughing in between their sweet dance moves. And that’s when it all hit; my own rush of nostalgia. Three years, one month, and one day prior to that moment, I was standing in that exact same room, surrounded by my own bridesmaids wearing purple dresses, getting ready to marry the man of…
