MEET US

We are a husband & wife photography team based in Montana, specializing in weddings for romantic and adventurous couples. We’re passionate about marriage, adventure, and dreaming BIG! When we’re not shooting weddings you can find us exploring in the mountains, traveling to new cities, binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix, or hanging out with our overly energetic dog!

Engagements & Couples

Engaged couples are simply the best! Full of excitement for their upcoming wedding and marriage, ready to begin their next grand adventure together. We believe love is best showcased outdoors, in the mountains. For our Bozeman Montana couples our go-to spots are Hyalite and the Bridgers, but we love traveling and exploring Glacier National Park or other amazing places with our couples too! There are few things we love more than cheering our engaged couples on as they begin their marriage!

We hear a lot of love stories, and they're all beautiful. But every now and then, one of them just sticks with us; like Kelle & Nick's. They met over 8 years ago and dated for a summer. But as it usually does, life happens. They were going separate ways; Kelle was off to school, and Nick was deployed with the military, twice (huge thanks to him for his service!). They stayed in touch over the next four years, and through a huge smile, Kelle recalled the moment when she told Nick that she had broken up with her boyfriend who she had dated after her and Nick had gone their separate ways, and Nick responded by saying, "It's because you're meant to be with me." And oh friends, was he ever right! Kelle had moved to Bozeman by this point, and Nick came to town to visit. They didn't even make it into…

I don't think we've ever been as jealous of someone as we are of Claudette & Justin. Why? Because they live in our very favorite place: Glacier National Park! Well, technically they live right outside the park. But seriously friends. These two grew up in the area surrounding Glacier, and still get to call it home. Claudette works in the park, and spent years as a park ranger giving tours and guiding people through all the amazing places there are to explore. Walking their dog (who we love!) includes trips to the Old Bridge right outside the park, overlooking the river. They get to spend their days in the most beautiful mountains. And my favorite thing of all, they get to let their love story unfold every single day, in Glacier National Park. So yes, to put it simply, Brandon and I are insanely jealous of them, because we can't think of…

I met Jason around 15 years ago, in middle school youth group. It's crazy to think about how much life has changed for both of us since then, but I love that even after all these years we still keep in touch. And even crazier to me is that we both ended up pursuing photography, and roping our spouses into it too!  We had been looking forward to this session for SO many reasons, which was only amplified by us having to reschedule twice due to weather. We were excited to capture updated headshots for Jason & Jadean, along with some couples shots, family shots, and the thing we were most excited for.... their secret announcement... BABY #2!!! Jason let me in on their secret a few weeks before their original session date so that we could plan some announcement photos for them, and each time we had to reschedule we all got…

We spent this past weekend in Havre, MT kicking off our wedding season with Hailey & Chris (more of them coming soon!), and before we left town Sunday morning we got to finally meet Mary of Merry Character Photography in person! We've been friends online for awhile, and we were so excited to finally be able to sit down for coffee. Brandon and I met up with Mary and her boyfriend Evan at the cutest little coffee shop, and we sat outside soaking up the morning sun and getting to know each other. But mostly we just got an ab workout from all the laughing! We seriously adore both of them and can't even begin to handle how amazing they are as people and as a couple.  A few weeks before our coffee date Mary asked if I would take some updated headshots of her, and if we could grab a couple photos of…

Last fall I met one of my favorite senior girls ever, Ellie, and she brought one of her sisters along for her session, Abbie. I quickly learned that they came from a family of SIX girls, which I related to well because I too grew up in a crazy house full of girls. During Ellie's session they mentioned that they had an older sister who would be getting married this summer, so a couple months later when their older sister Maggie emailed me, I was beyond excited! We met up with Maggie and Travis in Billings, and quickly verified that YES, the Hanser sisters are ALL awesome! Nearly 3 years ago Maggie had a friend who roped her into joining a power volleyball league, but little did she know that her friend had a twin brother who would quickly steal her heart. Watching the way Travis looked at Maggie, or how he…
