MEET US

We are a husband & wife photography team based in Montana, specializing in weddings for romantic and adventurous couples. We’re passionate about marriage, adventure, and dreaming BIG! When we’re not shooting weddings you can find us exploring in the mountains, traveling to new cities, binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix, or hanging out with our overly energetic dog!

Engagements & Couples

Engaged couples are simply the best! Full of excitement for their upcoming wedding and marriage, ready to begin their next grand adventure together. We believe love is best showcased outdoors, in the mountains. For our Bozeman Montana couples our go-to spots are Hyalite and the Bridgers, but we love traveling and exploring Glacier National Park or other amazing places with our couples too! There are few things we love more than cheering our engaged couples on as they begin their marriage!

Almost SIX years ago I met up with Allannah and Will (& Casper!) for the first time. Allannah and I had both worked at the same bank (but at different branches) and a mutual co-worker connected us when she got engaged. We went on an adventure around Bozeman for their engagement session and the following summer they tied the knot at the Gallatin River Hideaway. Then sometime last year we realized how quickly their five year anniversary was approaching and decided that an updated session was a must! So in August we met up, again with the always adorable Casper in tow, and went on yet another adventure around Bozeman and up into Hyalite Canyon. We had so much fun I didn't want our adventure to end!  I love shooting engagements and weddings, the start of amazing adventures full of love. But you want to know what I love even more?…

We first met Sarah & Riley over beers at one of our favorite local breweries and they instantly felt like friends. They are laid back and so much fun and the way they love each other is made apparent by just spending a few minutes in their space. After first rescheduling their engagement session due to rain, we were greeted by such a perfect and beautiful sunset on the evening of their session! We explored trails and fields and they were even brave enough to kick off their shoes and jump in the creek (FYI - that's an instant way to my heart!). But mostly we spent a lot of time laughing, which just comes naturally to these two. We are already SO excited for their Bozeman wedding next summer at the Gallatin River Hideaway!

I first met Trista a few years ago when she was a bridesmaid in Katie & Joel's wedding (be sure to click that link and check out the pictures from when she and another bridesmaid led a flashmob dance during the reception!). So when Trista sent me a message asking if I would do her engagement photos, I was beyond excited!! Sadly, when they tie the knot in Mexico this winter I'll be at home with our brand new baby girl - but Trista & Dustin, I fully expect you to have an extra celebratory drink for me!!  As if I wasn't excited enough, Trista & Dustin had the idea of starting their session at Map Brewing, confirming they were exacty my kinda people! We started slow over some beers (except me, because I had juuuust found out I was pregnant!) and lots of laughing before heading up the mountain to…

Since finding out we were expecting at the end of April, the blog has been a little quiet and so many pretty sessions have gone unshared -- SO sorry about that friends!! I promise I'm going to start catching up now; that morning/all-day sickness just got the best of me for a couple months!    So first up on the catch-up schedule: TAYLOR AND JOHN!!! These two are tying the knot this weekend and I am beyond excited to celebrate with them at Roy's Barn in Bozeman. We met up for their engagement session in early May and had the best time exploring around Bozeman and soaking in a beautiful sunset in front of the mountains. These two are so full of joy and laughter and are so relaxed and at ease with each other. It was such a joy to get to know them and looking through their engagement session again…

It was just an ordinary day. Renee had traveled to Bozeman to visit her brother who was attending college at MSU. But later that evening she met her brother's friend, Peter. And nothing would ever be the same.    I first met Renee in 7th grade. If I scoured old photo albums I'd find embarrassing photos from middle school and lots of wonderful memories. So to see her so happy now, with a man who is kind, smart, funny, and treats her so well, just makes me beyond happy for the two of them! When we were emailing about their engagement session Peter wrote this to me, "I love her because she is as beautiful and comfortable in gore-tex and hiking boots as she is in heels and a dress." Okay okay, we're all swooning over here! How sweet is that?!   We started out their session at one of their favorite…
