The Billings Depot

We might be a little biased saying that this is our favorite venue in Billings, but that's only because we were married at the Billings Depot back in 2013! Right in the heart of downtown Billings, it's a gorgeous venue located in an old train station, full of history and beauty. Plus, it's central location allows for us to take our couples exploring through downtown Billings and nearby parks for portraits on their wedding day.

It was a story 7 years in the making. They were high school sweethearts, and Jourdan knew from the first moment he worked up the courage to speak to Lindsey that this would be the girl he would marry. She was the cute girl who he'd caught glimpses of practicing hurdles in their high school hallway, too nervous to actually talk to her, until Lindsey's dad would tell Jourdan to seek out her help on a school project he was working on. He took her dad's advice, tracked her down at school, and built up the courage to finally talk to the pretty girl he'd been crushing on. And it's been history from that day on! Highs and lows, they've been through it all. They've grown up together, and they'll get to spend the rest of their lives doing just that. SO many things about Lindsey & Jourdan's story and wedding hit…

Maggie eased into the day, calm and collected. She had a smile across her face throughout her hair and makeup appointment, but there was a noticeable excitement surrounding her. This was the day she got to marry her best friend. And oh, what a beautiful and perfect day it was! After Maggie finished her hair and makeup we all headed back to the Billings Depot, where she met her bridesmaids to put on the finishing touches. The girls blared music and danced while they all got ready, including Beyonce’s Single Ladies while Maggie slipped into her gorgeous dress, laughing in between their sweet dance moves. And that’s when it all hit; my own rush of nostalgia. Three years, one month, and one day prior to that moment, I was standing in that exact same room, surrounded by my own bridesmaids wearing purple dresses, getting ready to marry the man of…

It’s no secret that we love weddings, but even more than that, we LOVE marriage! It’s why we chose to specialize in weddings & engagements. There are few things we love more than watching our couples begin their own marriage journeys, and getting to share in those special moments with them. A beautiful bride in white, a dashing groom who can’t stop smiling, promises of endless adventures together; we just can’t get enough of those moments! But as the old saying goes: “Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite.” So, we thought it was about time to finally share OUR STORY with all of you!   If you missed a previous part of our story, check it out first below! I’m sitting here in complete disbelief that an entire year has passed since I became a Mrs. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was walking down the aisle, starring into the eyes of the man I love. But here we are, 365 days later. It’s nearly impossible to know where to start writing about this past year, and it’s even more difficult to do it through teary eyes. But I just can’t help it, I’m a big ol’ sap. I can remember nearly every moment of our wedding in detail. I remember how composed I was all morning, only to lose it right before our first look. In that moment, it hit me that my whole life was beginning right then and there. But I somehow pulled it together, walked outside, tapped Brandon on the shoulder, and got to watch his face light up at the sight of me.…
