MEET US

We are a husband & wife photography team based in Montana, specializing in weddings for romantic and adventurous couples. We’re passionate about marriage, adventure, and dreaming BIG! When we’re not shooting weddings you can find us exploring in the mountains, traveling to new cities, binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix, or hanging out with our overly energetic dog!

Nearly all of our sessions happen at sunset, because I am simply not a morning person. But every now and then, our schedules leave us with sunrise as the only option, and every time we wake up before the sun, and chase that early morning light with other beautiful souls, I'm reminded just how amazing those first few moments of a day are. There's something different about sunrise, about starting fresh, starting anew.  We met up with Sadie & Stefan right as the sun started to peak over the tops of the Bear Paw Mountains. We explored vast fields, tiny trails, and got to hear all about how these two fell in love. Stefan told us with a giant smile on his face about the night that he met Sadie and worked up the courage to talk to her, and together they reminisced about the day where Stefan took Sadie…

I'm a little behind on blogging my last few sessions from the end of our crazy busy summer, so prepare yourself for a couple weeks packed of gorgeousness while I catch up and share all of our fall sessions too!  We met Mickey, Brock, and their adorable daughter at the golf course where they will say their vows next year, and the views were stunning! We had so much fun riding our golf carts around the entire course exploring every beatufiul spot we came across. These two met at a rodeo two years ago, and earlier this year Brock got down on one knee in front of a gorgeous waterfall in Glacier, asking Mickey to spend the rest of her life by his side (queue our jealousy here at anyone who gets to celebrate those milestones in the most beautiful place on earth!). We had so much fun laughing with…

“A dark cloud. That’s the only way I can explain it right now. Every day, there’s a dark cloud that follows me around. Some days the sun shines a little more fiercely and pierces through the cloud, and I feel the warmth of the sun and it makes me feel alright. Content. Even hopeful. But other days the cloud is more intense, and everything feels grey in its shadow. Other days the cloud lets loose and dumps rain, with hurricane forces. On all those days, I’m smiling happily on the outside. How? Why? I don’t know. I just know that regardless of the thoughts in my head, and the feelings in my heart, thinking that someone might find those things out is the most terrifying thing of all.”   That was the beginning of a verrry long email I sent to Brandon last December; the day I finally told him…

Yesterday we shared all about our crazy summer that led to us cancelling our long planned anniversary trip to Banff National Park in Canada, just 48 hours before we were planning on leaving, and trading it for two plane tickets to an all inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico! You can read about that HERE. Now of course we were sad about not going to Banff; we'd been planning that trip all year. But due to the summer's events, it just no longer made sense. I was still on crutches, and hiking through beautiful Canada would not be an option. So Brandon being the hero he is came up with a new plan, just 48 hours before our trip.  It was a whirlwind of a weekend as we prepared for our trip, but once we landed in Mexico and arrived at our resort, all the stress of our summer had faded away.…

You see that guy above? I just need to take a minute to tell you how AMAZING he is. I could sit here for hours and tell you about all the things he does behind the scenes. About all the ways he goes above and beyond, mostly without recognition. On wedding days he is the one who keeps me on track, who reminds me of all the things I can't forget, who runs and grabs all the items I do forget, who hangs dresses on things far out of my reach, who carries our heavy gear around, who keeps track of our photo list and makes sure we don't miss any shots, who keeps me motivated and hydrated (equally important!), who stands behind me making silly faces and funny noises to make kiddos smile during family photos, and who keeps me laughing all day long. But this wedding season was different. This wedding…
