MEET US

We are a husband & wife photography team based in Montana, specializing in weddings for romantic and adventurous couples. We’re passionate about marriage, adventure, and dreaming BIG! When we’re not shooting weddings you can find us exploring in the mountains, traveling to new cities, binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix, or hanging out with our overly energetic dog!

A few years ago I was working as a teller at a credit union, and we had the most amazing group of ladies on the teller line. Katie was one of those ladies, and it was the absolute best working beside her every single day. Katie is the person who always has a great attitude, never takes anything too seriously, and who can always make you laugh. So when she decided to move back home to Minnesota in the middle of 2015, I was so sad to see her go! We've kept in touch since she left, and Katie would regularly make my day by sending me the sweetest messages about how much she loved recent blogs I'd posted of engagements or weddings. Then earlier this fall I saw another photo of a beautiful ring on someone's left hand... and this time it was Katie's!!! She quickly let me know…

We've known each other since kindergarten, and I've been lucky enough to call her one of my best friends since the beginning of high school. Over the last 20 years we've made more memories than I can even begin to count. We've grown up together, laughed together, cried together, adventured together. But our adventure last weekend was an extra special one, because this time we were celebrating Catie's engagement!!  Every year Catie and Steven come up and spend a weekend with us and we all go to a Bobcat game. We plan the weekend as soon as the football schedule comes out, and we spend months looking forward to it! But this year, in between buying our tickets and game day, Steven walked up to Catie in their home, ring in hand, and asked her to spend the rest of her life laughing alongside him. She happily said YES, and…

For a long time, they remained friends. Forrest and Kelly both lived in the same dorm on campus, and as a group many of them would eat dinner together each night. They built a friendship, laughing and joking and adventuring together. But somewhere along the way it all started to change. Their friendship caught fire, and nothing would ever be the same. Fast forward a couple years, and Forrest managed to get down on one knee, on skis, and ask Kelly to spend the rest of her life by his side!  When Kelly first emailed me about her wedding, she described her wedding day as a "Progressive Wedding Adventure". Which is my new favorite term! Basically, they just wanted to go on an adventure in Glacier National Park, and tie the knot along the way. They would take a boat across a lake, along with their closest friends and family, walk…

Kiley is absolutely beautiful inside and out. We started her senior session out in the best way possible, with her dads car! As the daughter of a mechanic myself, I've grown up with a deep love for sexy cars. So when Kiley asked if we could do some of her senior portraits with her dad's Firebird, I was beyond excited! After we played with the Firebird for a little while we drove up the mountain for the rest of Kiley's session. We laughed and adventured and Kiley nailed every outfit and pose. I used to work with Kiley's mom, so it was a blast catching up with her, and seeing just how much Kiley resembles her momma. So of course, we had to sneak in a few photos of them together too! This was the first session that really felt like fall, and it was such a welcomed change! The leaves…

Nearly all of our sessions happen at sunset, because I am simply not a morning person. But every now and then, our schedules leave us with sunrise as the only option, and every time we wake up before the sun, and chase that early morning light with other beautiful souls, I'm reminded just how amazing those first few moments of a day are. There's something different about sunrise, about starting fresh, starting anew.  We met up with Sadie & Stefan right as the sun started to peak over the tops of the Bear Paw Mountains. We explored vast fields, tiny trails, and got to hear all about how these two fell in love. Stefan told us with a giant smile on his face about the night that he met Sadie and worked up the courage to talk to her, and together they reminisced about the day where Stefan took Sadie…
