Last fall Tasha commented on one of my Instagram posts about a new engagement session on the blog, and she stated that she wanted to be on our blog one day, so obviously we had to make it happen! You see, Tasha isn't just dating any guy... she's dating Brandon's little brother, Jaden. When I first met Brandon, Jaden was just a middle schooler who loved to steal all of Brandon's clothes and argue with him any chance he got - like most little brother's do! But over the last 8 years we've watched Jaden grow up, graduate high school, excel in college, and chase something he's passionate about. And we also go to watch him fall in love with Tasha, and as quickly as she stole his heart, she stole the rest of ours too. She's part of the family, and we tell Jaden regularly that he better hold onto…

I’m going to get real serious with you today friends… We’re diving into our FAVORITE TV shows to watch together! Brandon and I love adventuring, more than anything. We love traveling, exploring new places, and trying new things. But we’re also both homebodies who love quiet nights on our couch, cuddled up with our crazy dog and a bowl of popcorn while we just hang out together. In the verrry early days of our relationship, we bonded over a shared love of the show Lost. We binge-watched all 6 seasons in just a few months so that we could watch the finale air live. And since then we’ve watched a lot of shows together, but only a few will go down as our favorites.     Our Top 10 Shows to watch Together

Mary and Evan met in high school, but that’s not really where the story begins… A few years after high school they ran into each other and after that Evan started planning ways to casually talk to Mary again. And since Mary was a photographer, Evan messaged her asking if she could do a photo of him that he needed for the military, really just wanting an excuse to talk to her. She said no because she didn’t do that type of photography. So Evan got creative, and asked if she could do his passport photo; again, she said no for the same reason. Strike two. A little while later Mary noticed Evan walk into the gym with a serious look on his face, she smiled and waved and he just kept on walking. She couldn’t believe he didn’t notice her, but she just resumed working out. That is… until…

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You’re engaged! You can’t stop staring at or playing with that new ring on your left hand, and dreaming of your perfect wedding day. I get it, I've been there! Being engaged is one of the most exciting times, but I also know how quickly it can get overwhelming. So I’ve made you a quick little cheat sheet of the first 5 things you need to do when you get engaged!   1. ANNOUNCE THE BIG NEWS, AND CELEBRATE! Tell all your family and friends, make it Facebook official, pop the champagne! Don’t rush into planning right away, take a while to just celebrate the start of this next adventure - and steal as many glances at that ring as you want!   2. SET YOUR BUDGET Before you even get started planning, set your budget! Talking money is never fun, but it’s a crucial step to successful and stress…

Gold glitter, sparkling rings, a white dress, black tux, and an amazing sunset over the mountains. Yep, this New Years Eve was one of the best ever! When we showed up to the room where Amanda and her bridesmaids were getting ready, Amanda was the calmest, most beautiful bride. Sipping her mimosa while her hair was curled, wearing a custom monogrammed flannel. Her and her friends laughed as they got ready, and told us about the bet regarding who would cry first between Amanda and Stephen. All bets were on Stephen. Once hair and makeup was done we all headed to the church, where Amanda put on the final touches - her dress and veil. Surrounded by her bridemaids and mother, Amanda turned around to the mirror where she saw herself as a bride for the first time, and the happy tears immideately started rolling down her cheeks. She had…
