Sara & Brandon

MEET US

We are a husband & wife photography team based in Montana, specializing in weddings for romantic and adventurous couples. We’re passionate about marriage, adventure, and dreaming BIG! When we’re not shooting weddings you can find us exploring in the mountains, traveling to new cities, binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix, or hanging out with our overly energetic dog!

Yesterday you got to see our 2014 trip to Glacier National Park, messy hair and all, but today you get to see the BEST part of that trip: Our Glacier National Park session with Jacilyn M, Photographer! On our final day in Glacier last summer Jackie drove up to meet us. I'd wanted pictures of Brandon and I in Glacier for awhile, and Jackie was the only person for the task! We started on the East side and made our way West, stopping where ever Jackie suggested. We laughed, acted ridiculous, sang along with almost every song, and Brandon sat in the backseat shaking his head at our craziness. Naturally.  We had the best time, even when Jackie was bordering on giving me a heart attack by getting a little TOO close to giant cliffs, or having Brandon and I crawl out onto slippery rocks in the middle of a cascade. But I'm SO glad…

There are few things that get our hearts racing like the site of big, beautiful mountains. They're our happy place. Our home. We wake up to the site of mountains out our window every day, and even though we LOVE to travel anywhere and everywhere we can, we also love coming home to the mountains just as much.  Earlier this month we traveled to the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and as we stood there trying to take in it's vast beauty we decided that while it was beautiful we would take Glacier National Park over it any day! And as it just so happens, we're off to Glacier again this weekend! We're headed up there for a weekend of camping, exploring, and hiking with some friends, along with an engagement session and two couples sessions! We are SO excited to get back up there for a…

LIFE. CHANGING. Those are the only words I can really come up with to explain our trip to Arizona. A few months ago I shared with you about WHY we were going to Arizona, and why I was so excited about it, if you missed that you can check it out here! Okay, now that you're caught up on the reason we decided to venture to the desert in the middle of summer, I'm SO excited to tell you all about it! Friends, I'll be really honest here: the photography industry is packed with a lot of useless things to spend your money on. I've invested thousands of dollars over the years on things that simply weren't worthwhile, with a few amazing things sprinkled in here and there. Because of that reason, regardless of how much I hoped and prayed that in person coaching with Amy & Jordan would be everything I dreamed it would be,…

The next 2014 recap is here, and it’s a beauty my friends! Just a refresher for anyone who missed the last few recaps; last summer I second shot a bunch of weddings for the amazing Jacilyn M, Photographer, but I never got around to sharing them with you. So this year I’m catching you up on everything you missed. Alright, onto Liz and David! These two, along with 165 of their loved ones, flew halfway across the country to get married in beautiful Red Lodge, Montana. Their family had land and a house in Red Lodge and they knew that nothing could top getting married in the mountains. And Montana certainly didn’t disappoint on their big day! Their wedding was so full of laughter and fun that my stomach literally hurt by the end of the night. Beer pong in the morning. Loud music all day long. And LOTS of dancing.…

Okay friends, raise your hand if you’ve ever been SO stressed and overwhelmed with your schedule that you hit a wall? Of exhaustion. Has the “busy” life ever caught up with you? Please tell me I’m not alone! Over the last few months I’ve felt like I was constantly busy. Too busy. I was neglecting things that were important to me, and even when I was doing something, or spending time with someone, I wasn’t ever fully present in that situation. I was always trying to multi-task and figure out my next move. My brain just didn’t stop running! Also, I’m a bit crazy when it comes to making lists and schedules (and they HAVE to be color-coded!). There are few things I love more than checking things off of a pretty list, or knowing that I’m keeping on schedule with how I’ve outlined my day. I work a full time day…
